The organic couscous is prepared from pre-cooked durum wheat semolina that is Organic Certified. This couscous is golden in colour and has medium size granules. When cooked properly, the granules will be soft and can separate easily. Couscous is traditionally served under a meat or vegetable stew. It can also be eaten alone either flavoured or plain, warm or cold, as a dessert or a side dish.

Pour 1 cup water, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, and 1/2 tsp salt in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup couscous, allowing to swell for 2 minutes. Add 2 to 3 teaspoons of butter, and reheat at a very low temperature for 3 minutes, stirring often. Stir with a fork to separate grains.
Avoid excess heat or humidity and store away from aromatic materials. Under ambient conditions, product is expected to have a shelf life of 6 months to 1 year.
